The guide explained the history of Oku-Daisen and eco program that which is offered in the forest.
We stopped by Soedani Lookout and the guide gave us a lecture about eco system.
Then we came to Kagamiganaru. It's raining now so we put on rain gears while listening the guide's explanation about the wetland and their program to conserve it.
We were heading to the walk path in the wetland area.
Kagamiganaru in the rain presented us a very mystical side of the area.
We had lunch at Kyuka-mura Okudaisen (Recreation Village). The main was a rice dish that featured Daisen area's local product.
After lunch, we followed Oku-Daisen Kodo which is a series of ancient pilgrimage routes to get to Daisenji Temple area.
At Mitsukue Area, there is an old traditional house which roof is made of thatch.
Then, we were going into the beech forest to walk along beautiful Kitanizawa-Keiryu (a mountain stream9.
A tree which was struck by lightning and destroyed was left as it was. Nature there is untouched by human hands.
The water was so cold and so clear that you can drink it right out of the stream.
Hope that everybody enjoyed themselves! Thank you!
